About Amarok Enterprises Canada
Amarok Enterprises are an Inuit owned company located in the middle of the Northwest Passage. Amarok offer Marine Escort Service throughout the Arctic Ocean in order to mitigate the groundings of ships and the possible oil spills or loss of life associated. Amarok are mandated to monitor the interaction of ships and passengers with the abundant wildlife and historic sites which are precious resources to all Inuit.
During transits Amarok will train qualified Inuit personnel in the art of ocean mapping using non-invasive technology. Amarok have used multi-beam scans since Amarok were the Lloyd's of London contractors recovering the cargo from Swissair Flight 111 in 1998
